Ninth Annual Best of Southern California Gaming™ Includes Readers' Best Casinos and Slots

“In an economy that has affected entertainment spending, including casino playing, response to this year’s reader's poll had a surprising increase. And for the first time this year, readers voted in three Loosest Slots categories.

The Southern California Gaming Guide™ announced today the 2011 Best of Southern California Gaming™ Reader’s Choice Awards in the ninth annual reader’s poll, conducted during July and August of 2011.

The 2011 Best of Southern California Gaming Reader’s Choice Awards include first, second and third place winners in 23 casino and 5 slot categories, for a total of 84 awards. From of a field of 23 Southern California casinos, and thousands of slot machines, all three award places are very significant.

“In an economy that has affected entertainment spending, including casino playing, response to this year’s poll had a surprising increase. And for the first time this year, readers voted in three Loosest Slots categories: San Diego County, Palm Springs Area, and Inland Empire,” said Théon Banos Cross, publisher of Southern California’s only monthly casino and slot guide.

In addition, 45 participating readers’ ballots drawn at random received the following: an iPad 2 64 GB (the winner chose the $800 option), $400, $300, $200, and $100. And 40 participants each received a copy of the Phantom EFX Reel Deal Slots: Gods of Olympus game DVD.
