ToonGoggles.com makes MIPCOM debut with exciting line up of cartoons and special preview of free mobile app for attendees.
ToonGoggles.com is a fun and interactive online platform where kids can view hundreds of animation properties from around the world for free.
A free App for the iPhone & iPad has been created to allow for streaming of all the content appearing on the site, as well as the ability to download episodes onto the device for offline viewing. This preview of the App will only be available to download for the duration of MIPCOM 2011 in Cannes, France. The full version of the App will be released in October. To find the App, search “TG MIPCOM” in the iTunes store.
MIPCOM is the worlds largest market for animation properties from around the globe. Executives from Toon Goggles are attending the MIPCOM trade festival seeking more cartoons with an emphasis on educational properties to populate its site.
“Parents and children can turn to ToonGoggles.com to not only be entertained, but educated as well.” Stephen Hodge, EVP New Media. “Educational programming like, ‘Mouse in House’ from Astral Studios located in South Africa being one of our best performing series on the site, demonstrates a large demand for educational content.”
The world wide launch of ToonGoggles.com at MIPCOM will allow visitors to create a free account, save cartoons onto their personal Toon Strip, share episodes with friends, and select a favorite avatar. Kids will also be able to enjoy our large selection of parent friendly video games.
Right’s holders are offered full data metrics within their account including the demographics of who is watching, how long their content is being viewed, when it is being shared between friends, and much more!
ToonGoggles.com accepts new animation and has a wide variety of full episodes, shorts, clips, and trailers, as well as older animation that may have been overlooked by Networks over the years. The site offers a terrific opportunity to test market new cartoons, trailers, and episodes.
ToonGoggles.com has a goal of being able to give content providers the analytics needed to successfully negotiate deals for their animation.
