The 26th induction class including DME CEO Mike Panaggio was feted at the annual Gold Ink Awards and Hall of Fame Gala at Graph Expo in Chicago on September 12, 2011. The Gold Ink Awards are hailed as the printing industry's most prestigious print competition and awards. Inductees into the Hall of Fame are nominated by their peers, represent the best of the best in the industry and are honored for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the printing and publishing industries.

"The award was quite unexpected, certainly. Quite unexpected but very much appreciated," says Panaggio. "I've always felt that the reward for a job well done was the fact that you did it, it's like running a marathon or climbing Mount Everest."

Panaggio founded Direct Mail Express in 1982 and has grown it from a start-up company of only seven employees to a fast-paced, vertically integrated marketing company that today employs over 450 people.
