Kuni Lexus of Colorado Springs announced today that they will be donating $100 from the sale of each vehicle sold during the month of October to Susan G Komen for the Cure – Southeastern Colorado affiliate.
Susan G Komen for the Cure of Southeastern Colorado is one of 125 affiliates world-wide that are dedicated to saving lives, increasing awareness and ending breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing the scientific community to find a cure for breast cancer.
Susan G Komen for the Cure of Southeastern Colorado will ensure that $75 of every $100 donated by Kuni Lexus of Colorado Springs will go to breast cancer education, screening, treatment and support for women in need in El Paso, Teller and Pueblo Counties. The remaining $25 of every $100 donated will go to breast cancer research on a national level.

“Kuni Lexus of Colorado Springs has been proud to be a part of the Colorado Springs community since 2003.” said Ed Baur, Proprietor and General Manager of Kuni Lexus of Colorado Springs. “Throughout that time, we’ve supported the community in many ways, such as our perennial involvement with the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado and the local chapter of Care and Share as well as most recently, our involvement with the Armed Forces Luncheon this past May, sponsorship of several local “Rally for the Cure” events meant to raise awareness and funds for the fight against breast cancer and our sponsorship of the Colorado Springs Rotary and their Butterflies and Friends auction which raised over $30,000 for the Rotary’s Community Service Fund and underfunded elementary school art programs in Colorado Springs School District 11."
