James (Jim) Gordon has joined HNTB Corporation as a design-build officer for the Northeast division. He brings more than 25 years of experience in engineering and design-build project management. He will be located in the firm’s Pittsburgh office, where he joins several new regional key hires.
Gordon will lead upcoming design-build pursuits for HNTB according to Bob Sutton, president Northeast Division. “With the current growth trend in the design-build market within the Northeast, Jim will provide focus and direction to help serve our clients in this arena,” said Sutton.
Before joining HNTB, Gordon served as national design-build capture manager for Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio at AECOM where he was responsible for managing projects and marketing for departments of transportation, turnpike authorities and municipalities in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic regions.
