Authentcity Travel celebrates their one year anniversary October 1, 2011. A subsidiary of Academic Travel Abroad, a 60+ year old travel company, AuthentiCity Travel was designed to provide a full immersion experience into a culture and its people.    AuthentiCity Travel programs include: insight to a culture through lectures and discussions by locals; in-situ language lessons; workshops including painting, hiking, cooking, and biking; meetings with families to understand a bit of daily life; local accommodations (and restaurants) that make travelers feel part of the community, free time built in to explore, and unprecedented access to places and people not found in any guidebook—the very essence of AuthentiCity and the heart of the motto, “Travel Deeper.”

Programs in Siena, Athens, Beijing, and Cairo provide this experience over the course of 14 days with several departures of each program. AuthentiCity is about transformation – a life changing experience not to be missed.

To celebrate the first anniversary, AuthentiCity Travel is offering $250 off per traveler, a hometown pick-up to airport (within 100 miles), and a power travel converter. This special offer expires October 31, 2011. Details can be found at
