Lewisville, TX (PRWEB) March 23, 2011
Interface People, LP announced today the IPeople Quest 3 inpatient modular EHR received the federal government’s “meaningful use” stamp of approval by earning Stage 1 Certification. The designation officially deems the electronic health record (EHR) software capable of enabling providers to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Tested and certified under the Drummond Group's Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB) program, the EHR software is 2011/2012 compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
“The certification of IPeople Quest 3 supports the continued commitment of IPeople to help our MEDITECH customers obtain access to accurate clinical information and business intelligence solutions. Healthcare entities can utilize our software to not only promote significant care improvements but to also assist in achieving meaningful use in order to qualify for incentive funds under ARRA,” says Jenny Blue, CEO of Interface People, LP.
IPeople Quest 3 is a modular EHR which provides a series of building blocks allowing users to create essential business solutions while integrating disparate systems for a unified view of the organization. This robust platform serves as a trend analyzer, a KPI viewer, enterprise reporting tool across multiple systems, clinical notification, and a business intelligence platform in one powerful solution designed specifically for health care organizations. IPeople Quest 3 also provides Clinical Quality Measures and Core Measures IPaths that provide MEDITECH facilities a polished solution for reporting PQRI data.
Drummond Group’s ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certification program tests and certifies that EHRs meet the meaningful use criteria for either eligible provider or hospital technology. In turn, healthcare providers using the EHR systems of certified vendors are qualified to receive federal stimulus monies upon demonstrating meaningful use of the technology -- a key component of the federal government’s push to improve clinical care delivery through the adoption and effective use of EHRs by U.S. healthcare providers.
This EHR Module is 2011/2012 compliant and has been certified by Drummond Group, an ONC-ATCB approved to certify any complete or modular EHR both ambulatory and inpatient, in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or guarantee the receipt of incentive payments.
