Participants and Experts will work out together how patients in daily practice may benefit most from specific management options; new treatment and techniques, etc.
Copenhagen, Denmark (Vocus/PRWEB) April 18, 2011
The 1st European Allergology Conference on Clinical Practices (EACCP) is part of the well-established and highly appreciated series of European Conferences for Clinical Practices (http://www.euccp.com) that intends to update participants on current practices, but also to educate on innovative approaches and techniques that are either still under investigation or that will be introduced in medical practice in the near future.
“Besides a few academic plenary lectures, the EACCP scientific program is mostly characterized by a multitude of interactive Clinical Corners” says Eduard Otte, MD, Lead Organizing Committee. “Moderated by internationally recognized Experts, these sessions are dedicated to a topic within a specific disease. Participants and Experts will work out together how patients in daily practice may benefit most from specific management options; new treatment and techniques, etc. The interactive nature of the Clinical Corners will also leave room for participants to freely exchange personal experiences with colleagues from different specialties and nationalities”, he adds.
The EACCP considered the following points as its primary objectives:
Review existing therapeutical approaches; inform about latest scientific advances; focus on new and emerging medial therapies; assess and improve the clinical implications of primary and secondary prevention; debate the impact and feasibility of risk factor management in daily practice; assess and improve the use diagnostic tools; allow participants meeting and discussing with international experts on (controversial) issues and challenges related to their daily practice; stimulate interdisciplinary exchanges and exchanges among healthcare professionals from different countries.
The program will include the topics of Atopic Dermatitis; Chronic Cough; Co-Morbidities and Inflammatory Phenotypes in Asthma; Drug Allergies; Food Reintroduction in Children; Peanut Allergy; Immunotherapy and Venoms; Penicillin Allergy; Recombinant Allergens; Recurrent Angioedema; Respiratory Allergy; Specific Immunotherapy in Clinical Practice; and Therapeutic Patient Education.
A commercial exhibition will take place parallel to the Conference.
The EACCP 2011 offers an up-to-date scientific and interactive program that offers attendees the latest innovative and clinically relevant findings for their daily practice.
Conference secretariat is Paragon Conventions.
