Q1Medicare.com now has a streamlined 2011 Medicare Part D prescription drug plan search tool online, providing seniors and other Medicare beneficiaries with a means to view all Medicare Part D plans with minimal effort. Available Medicare Part D plan coverage features include monthly premiums, Donut Hole coverage, and cost-sharing for all drug tiers. Advanced search functions are also available to users who wish to narrow the list of available Medicare Part D plans. Medicare beneficiaries with special financial needs can also choose to only view prescription drug plans qualifying for the $0 Low-Income Subsidy premium.

Q1Medicare.com now offers an easier way for Seniors and other members of the Medicare community to review 2011 Medicare Part D prescription drug plans. Using the Q1Medicare PDP-Finder, Medicare beneficiaries can simply select their resident state and view all stand-alone 2011 Medicare Part D plans available in their area - along with key prescription drug plan coverage information.

For example, a Florida senior can use the 2011 PDP-Finder to quickly see an overview of the 29 available stand-alone prescription drug plans within the state. Each Medicare prescription drug plan is shown with monthly premiums, initial deductibles, information on Gap or Donut Hole coverage, co-payment or cost sharing information, and whether the Medicare Part D plan qualifies for the $0 Low-Income Subsidy premium.

More advanced users can also filter the PDP-Finder search results based on monthly premiums or Donut Hole coverage or plans qualifying for the $0 Low-Income Subsidy premium.

The Q1Medicare PDP-Finder also includes a new “T” icon, allowing users to read about a Medicare Part D plan’s coverage in a "simple text" format. Users can also choose the “detail” icon and view a chart summarizing the coverage details of a particular plan. The Q1Medicare PDP-Finder is updated regularly throughout the Annual Enrollment Period as new Medicare Part D plan information becomes available.

Q1Medicare.com will allow users to search across Medicare Part D plans for their specific prescription medications as the 2011 prescription drug data becomes available.

Q1Medicare.com has also brought their 2011 MA-Finder online with basic coverage information on all 2011 Medicare Advantage plans. The 2011 Medicare Advantage plan information includes monthly plan premiums, deductibles, and maximum out of pocket limits (or MOOP) for all Medicare Advantage plans in all counties across the country.
