Our performances in December and January received rave reviews and we’re excited to have found a summer home in the heart of the theater district. We're looking forward to engaging, delighting and inspiring families in every performance.

Get ready for summer fun with the return of THE OHMIES: MORNING WISH GARDEN– an exceptional all-new theatrical experience for pre-schoolers -- playing at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater at 416 West 42nd Street in New York City. Performances begin Thursday June 16 and tickets are on sale now at http://www.ticketcentral.com.

"This is great news for families in New York City and a huge step for The Ohmies," says Seth A. Goldstein, Producer and General Manager. "Our performances in December and January received rave reviews and we’re excited to have found a summer home in the heart of the theater district. We're looking forward to engaging, delighting and inspiring families in every performance.

"We've taken the idea of musical theater for children beyond the next level," Goldstein continued, "and we're planning to do for health and wellness what Sesame Street has done for education. We have a 12-person advisory committee that has helped us develop THE OHMIES: MORNING WISH GARDEN in a way that is incredibly entertaining and engaging for young children as it focuses on healthy physical activities and appropriate emotional and social lessons."

Kids ages 3 through 8 will dance, stretch and giggle during THE OHMIES: MORNING WISH GARDEN as their new BFFs -- Bella Butterfly and Carlin Caterpillar – take them on an engaging journey to wake up Mr. Sun so that their garden of wishes will grow. Along the way Bella and Carlin and friends lead the audience in a series of yoga-inspired dance exercises as they advance the story and learn to make friends and defeat their worries.

THE OHMIES: MORNING WISH GARDEN runs 55 minutes with no intermission and is performed in an open theater space in which the audience sings along to original music, hops like a grasshopper, slithers like a snake, flies like a butterfly and more on antimicrobial fitness mats. (Seating is available for those who can't sit on mats.) Loose-fitting clothing – and colorful socks! – are recommended for everyone. THE OHMIES: MORNING WISH GARDEN is much more than theater – it’s a one-of-a-kind interactive musical experience that gets kids’ bodies moving and their imaginations running wild!
