To be recognized among the top Wisconsin companies for the fourth consecutive year and to continue to rise in rank is exciting for us.
Palmyra, Wis. (PRWEB) September 28, 2011
The listing of Wisconsin’s largest closely held companies once again includes Palmyra-based Standard Process Inc. This year, the whole food supplement manufacturer rose three places to No. 60 on the Wisconsin 75 list. The listing, presented by accounting and business consulting firm Deloitte, names the largest privately held businesses headquartered in Wisconsin.
"To be recognized among the top Wisconsin companies for the fourth consecutive year and to continue to rise in rank is exciting for us,” said Steve Ryan, vice president of finance at Standard Process. “It really demonstrates how hard everyone at Standard Process works to grow sales, despite the persistent challenging economy.”
Standard Process has been in business for 82 years, and over the last decade it has experienced strong economic growth. In 2010 Standard Process reported revenue over $108 million.
Companies are ranked by overall revenue for the Wisconsin 75. To be considered for the voluntary submission process, qualifying companies must be headquartered in Wisconsin, majority owned by an individual(s), family or by an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), and have a minimum of $50 million in annual sales revenue.
