I know this area and I understand the kinds of industries the rural areas thrive on. Being in this part of the state makes each business sale unique.

Sunbelt Business Brokers welcomes Bob Gibbons, who comes with a vast amount of experience, ranging from extensive real estate sales to automotive manufacturing and marketing. “We can really use Bob’s combination of business knowledge and real estate expertise in a part of the state he’s familiar with and also well-known,” says Mark Richie, Sunbelt-Raleigh’s owner. These skills allow a business broker such as Bob to set up a business for sale and get the business sold to a qualified buyer professionally and efficiently. “Understanding how a business works and having been in real estate is essential in a business sale,” says Gibbons.

Eastern North Carolina is an underserved area in business brokerage and Bob is looking forward to the opportunity to match a business for sale with the perfect buyer. “I know this area and I understand the kinds of industries the rural areas thrive on,” he says. “Being in this part of the state makes each business sale unique.” Bob’s experience in both the manufacturing side of business as well as sales and marketing gives him an edge in helping a business owner find the right buyer.

Prior to joining Sunbelt Business Brokers, Bob was a real estate broker with The Rich Company in Washington and Bath, NC and earned “Million-Dollar Producer” Awards twice. In 1995, Bob founded Tructor Vehicles Inc, a vehicle development company, where his patented work/farm vehicles won industry awards. He later sold the company to a Texas manufacturing firm. Before that, Bob was also a long-term national accounts rep for Verizon, where he sold the first $2 Million enterprise account. He was previously president of The Diesel Automobile & Tractor Association, appearing on ABC-TV’s “20/20” as a diesel automobile industry spokesperson.
