Sparks, NV (PRWEB) November 28, 2012
The Flower Bucket Florist have been in business in the Reno Sparks community for over 34 years. Every year they sponsor many events in the community. For the last six years they have participated in the Big Reno Coat Drive. The shop is a family owned business, started over 3 decades ago by Pat Panages.
Today the shop is operated by Pat’s daughter Cathy Langdahl. This family has always kept the community first, they are always willing to lend a helping hand. In 2006 they were one of the original collection locations for the Big Reno Coat Drive. “We care about this community and are always happy to help in any way possible” says Cathy Landahl, Owner Flower Bucket Florist. “The Big Reno Coat Drive is a great idea and we love to see it grow and help more people every year,” adds Langdahl.
If you or your company is interested in donating coats or sweatshirts to the 2012 Big Reno Coat Drive please stop in to the Flower Bucket Florist or visit our website http://www.Bigrenocoatdrive.org for drop off locations and details about the drive. About The Big Reno Coat Drive
The Big Reno Coat Drive was founded in 2005 by Sean Nichols. The mission of the coat drive is simple “People helping People.” Over the last 6 years with the help of local businesses and residents, we have collected over 5000 coats.
The coats we collect are handed out on the streets of Reno and Sparks; they are also given to the Reno Sparks Gospel Mission. We have been working with the Reno Sparks Gospel Mission for many years and they share the same passion for helping others as we do. If you have a local group or organization that needs coats, please let us know.
