As swimmers and swimming pool owners, we all have a responsibility to get up-to-date certification to perform CPR
Houston (PRWEB) January 19, 2012
Houston pool builder, Platinum Pools, is hosting two free CPR classes Saturday, Jan. 28 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the builder’s Westheimer location. Attendees registered for each of the two-hour classes, taught by the American Red Cross, will receive a two year CPR certificate for adult, child and infant CPR.
“With spring just around the corner, we can’t stress enough how important it is for us to learn this life-saving skill,” says Scott Waldo, president, Platinum Pools. Pool safety is a top priority for the Houston swimming pool builder, who shares pool safety tips and events with readers year-round on the company’s website. “As swimmers and swimming pool owners, we all have a responsibility to get up-to-date certification to perform CPR,” he says.
Children are welcome to observe the CPR class or visit in the Platinum Pools game room, but only attendees over the age of 12 will receive a certificate. To reserve your space in the class, contact Erica at ericac(at)platinumpools(dot)com or by phone at 281-870-1600 by Friday, Jan. 27. To view a the 2012 Platinum Pools CPR schedule click here.
