Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps Director, Brad Neher, unveiled plans to offer four Nike Golf Day Camps throughout the Denver Metropolitan area this summer. Neher, a former standout player and Men’s Golf Coach at CU Boulder, looks forward to bringing quality golf camps to the same communities where he learned to golf.

“I'm truly excited for 2012,” says Neher. We have four great new locations and an incredible staff lined up to help kids of all abilities take their game to the next level. I’ve spent the last two decades creating junior programs, building junior-friendly facilities, and competing and coaching in this area. It’s rewarding to play a role in helping develop the next generation of golfers in Colorado.”

Neher’s Nike Golf Camps will be held at CommonGround Golf Course, Green Valley Ranch Golf Club, Pelican Lakes Golf & Country Club, and Broken Tee Golf Course. The camps run for four days from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and are open to junior golfers ages 9 – 16. Neher is joined on staff by some of the state’s most highly regarded instructors and players including Elena King, Stan Sayers, Charlie Soule, Stacy Kleve, Brett Dean, Ben Portie, Scott Petersen and Sherry Smith.

“Brad has been a big part of the golf landscape in Denver for a long time,” states Jason West, vice president of Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps. “He played his junior golf in the area, achieved great success at CU Boulder, and has been a huge advocate for young players in the region for many years. He’ll do a phenomenal job with these new camps.”

Brad Neher has directed summer golf camps in Colorado since 1999. He is the former assistant coach of the University of Colorado men's golf team and served as the head coach during the 2005-2006 season. An honorable mention U.S. Kids “Top 50” Junior Instructor of America, he was the CEO/Founder of ACE (Access, Competition & Etiquette) Golf Foundation which he formed in 1998, running the organization until it merged with the Gold Crown Junior Golf Association in 2003.
