Nike Baseball Camps offers locations nationwide for players ages 6-18 of all abilities and is pleased to announce its latest day camp addition at Big Tree Park, July 9-13, to the 2012 NIKE Baseball Camp schedule.
“Each summer we look to improve our offerings of Nike Baseball Camp across the country. This summer is no exception with the addition of another Florida baseball camp location” says Mike de Surville, Vice President of US Sports Camps. “Our camp Directors are our partners and as such have a major stake in providing camps of the highest quality; camps that are fun and improve the skills of each camper.”
Co-Directing this NIKE Baseball Camp at Big Tree Park are Southeastern University coaches, Jason Beck and David Moskovits. Head Coach Jason Beck came to Southeastern in August 2004 and will enter his eighth season as the head coach of the Southeastern baseball program in 2012. David Moskovits has been an assistant coach at Southeastern University for 4 years after playing the outfield for Southeastern for 4 years prior. The 2011 season was truly historic for the Fire. Beck won his 400th career game versus Edward Waters College and the Fire also set a school record with a 16-game home winning streak. During this 2011 season, the Fire jumped into the national polls at No. 23 in late March, before moving up two spots to No. 21, where they stayed for the next three weeks.
Nike Baseball Camps provide focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement for all skill levels. Every facet of the game is covered with an emphasis on fundamentals to help players become valuable team members. At each baseball camp location, campers are broken into groups with other players of similar age, abilities and goals. Each camp director does their best to advance players to the next level, keeping in consideration each camper’s experience and desire to improve.
