Sea Colony Tennis Center, located just south of Bethany Beach, Delaware, will host the Pink Ribbon Classic Tennis Tournament on Friday, Oct. 5. Proceeds from the event will benefit the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer programs.
Tournament registration begins at 8 a.m. and play will take place rain or shine. The cost of entry is $70 per person and includes play in the compass draw round robin format (by level) tournament, as well as breakfast and lunch. Also, the event will feature a Chinese auction, 50/50 and raffles.
A tribute to those that have lost lives to, or are currently fighting, breast cancer will be displayed at Center Court on the Pink Ribbon Classic Dedication Flag during this tournament and at other Pink Ribbon events throughout the month.
With 34 tennis courts, including four indoor and 14 Har-Tru clay, and an experienced, talented group of teaching professionals, Sea Colony Tennis, under Tennis Director Thomas Johnston, offers a wide range of camps, clinics and private instruction to tennis players of all ages and skill levels.
