Intuitive wisdom is hard-wired into all of us, accessed through prayer, meditation or simply quieting our thoughts. It's a ready source of direction, a guidance system of the soul that can help us prosper, keep us safe or assist with tough decisions.

Lynn Robinson, author, speaker, and noted intuitive, enjoys a thriving business that includes speaking, writing books, giving readings, and helping people tap into the inner voice that often drives their success. Robinson, who celebrates 25 years in business this month, started her company in 1987 on a hunch and has never looked back.

Since then, Lynn has adapted her business, Intuitive Consulting, Inc., with the times, growing her offerings from "psychic readings" to an international intuitive consulting enterprise that boasts both individual and business customers and has expanded to include writing and professional speaking. She has authored seven books on intuition, riding the wave of changing attitudes on a topic that has come into its own as a field of study and is now applied routinely to areas like business planning, new product development, health and medicine and personal performance.

“Intuitive wisdom is hard-wired into all of us, accessed through prayer, meditation or simply quieting our thoughts,” says Lynn. “It's a ready source of direction, a guidance system of the soul that can help us prosper, keep us safe or assist with tough decisions.” She believes everyone can access intuition, and with practice, anyone can improve their own intuitive abilities.

Before launching her business, Lynn was Operations Manager of a small software company in an industry deeply immersed in the world of science and logic. She was taking classes on intuition, found she had a natural talent for it, but struggled with how to start a business around such an exotic skill. Attending a friend’s funeral service, she arrived to hear someone directing her where to sit. Turning to thank them, she discovered no one was there. She nevertheless sat where directed, next to an unfamiliar face. As the service ended, the two exchanged pleasantries and Lynn was asked what she did for a living. Despite being employed in management, she blurted out ”I’m a psychic!” Her seatmate, a newspaper feature writer, was intrigued and asked Lynn for a reading, which led to an article in The Boston Globe. Within months, Intuitive Consulting had over 500 clients and her business was off to a healthy start.

Twenty-five years later, the intuitive expert is driven by that chance encounter to help others get more in tune with their inner voice, the one that changed Lynn’s business and her life. She credits following her gut with having 25 years of business success. She believes everyone has an unwavering and reliable guidance system that provides clear and accurate direction for life’s decisions.
