As the first Egyptian Arabic unbiased political website, Egypt Opinion believes every individual should have the resources to form his political opinion without the influence of seasoned politicians on his opinion. Providing access to a continuum of appropriate resources to serve this matter is Egypt Opinion's goal.
"We're doing our best," said Waleed Elgamal, president and chief executive officer, Egypt Opinion. "However, we know that current systems, structures and resources to help people understand politics do not adequately meet the growing need, we're doing our best to research and provide information which is limited due to the sudden transition into the world of democracy after January 25th revolution."
Since the launch of its online operations in August 19th 2011, Egypt Opinion has been using all available resources to raise awareness about politics providing its services to Egyptians who desperately need every bit of information to form their political views. And, now, during June's presidential elections, Egypt Opinion is working hard to provide all information about the candidates and their programs.

Egypt Opinion website shines the spotlight on Egyptians concern for the future. Understanding politicians and decision makers' political views and opinions is the key to predict the future of a certain topic and whether the politician will work on solving a certain issue or not.
"Egypt Opinion website arms society with combined information about politicians and political parties to form political decisions based on solid facts, discarding rumors and unconfirmed news—Political awareness used to be a dull topic for discussion, but after January 25th and the parliament's elections held it was obvious that Egyptian public did not have any information about the politicians elected, their views, opinions and programs. So the idea to create an Arabic unbiased political website to provide politicians and political parties—resume, programs & opinions, upcoming events, official website, official Facebook page, official twitter, means to contact—to the general public to increase awareness was formulated," said Waleed Elgamal president and chief executive officer Egypt Opinion.
Egypt Opinion created a Facebook page, a campaign to make sure such critical services become a reality for as many Egyptians as they can reach—to help turn parents' dreams for their child's future from fearful to hopeful.
Egypt Opinion aims to bring communities together in action for political awareness, joining individuals with politicians, political organizations, political parties, public policy influencers, corporate partners, and other non-profit organizations to work collaboratively to deliver better political services for the general public, provide access to vital information and resources.
