Pioneer Technology Group, a leading provider of innovative technology solutions to courts, clerks, and county governments, is developing a new Official Records system, Landmark, that will be released nationally in 2012. The system will incorporate leading-edge technology and provide the most advanced, efficient, and cost effective county recording system available.

In keeping with Pioneer's philosophy of developing systems in partnership with actual users, the company has launched a product site, to provide clerks and recording staff with a forum to submit ideas, comments, and feature requests. Pioneer expects that many user ideas will be incorporated into the initial and future releases of Landmark.

"Pioneer Technology is excited to announce our new, state-of-the-art Official Records system" said Steve Rumsey, President of PTG. " Our team has significant expertise in this area and we have received many requests from county clerks to replace their obsolete and inefficient Official Records systems. Many counties have acquired systems that are delayed, unreliable, or don't deliver the features or efficiencies that were promised. Given the number of requests, both in Florida and nationally, this represents something of an encore performance for our developers and management team".

"Pioneer Technology Group was the first choice for our new Official Records system" said Jeffery K. Barton, Clerk of the Circuit Court in Indian River County. "We know from experience that they deliver systems that are reliable, integrate well across the board, and bring tremendous efficiencies to the recording process". Mr. Barton has served as Clerk of the Circuit Court in Indian River County for 23 years and is the past President of the Florida Association of Clerks and Comptrollers.
