The IIHS awarded the 2012 Subaru Impreza with a 2012 Top Safety Pick award

Briggs Subaru-one of the leading Subaru dealerships in Lawrence, Kansas would like to announce that the 2012 Subaru Impreza has earned a Top Safety Pick award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety for 2012. The Subaru Impreza is all-new this year and is the most fuel-efficient all-wheel drive vehicle in America at 36 mile per gallon.

The IIHS recognizes vehicles that do the best job at protecting drivers and passengers in front, side, rear and rollover crashes. The vehicles are tested and based on ‘good’ ratings to determine if they are a Top Safety Pick. Winners of the award must also have electronic stability control.

On top of earning the award for the 2012 Subaru Impreza, Subaru of America has, for the third consecutive year, retained its status as the only manufacturer with a 2012 Top Safety Pick for all models. This is a gigantic honor and shows how the entire Subaru lineup is the safest lineup of any manufacturer.
