The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences (AAHS) recently honored The Nikki Beach Resort & Spa @ the Pearl, Qatar with a prestigious International AAA 5 Star Diamond Award for Best Design for a Boutique Beach Resort in the Middle East.

Designed by the award winning Singapore-based ECO ID Architects with interior design by Gatserelia Design, The Nikki Beach Resort & Spa @ the Pearl is a $45 million boutique beachfront resort with 47-luxury villas and spa suites. Located in Qatar, the Nikki Beach development will include Satine, a pan Asian specialty restaurant, NikkiSpa by Espa, Envy, the Ultra VIP lounge and champagne bar, a signature Nikki Beach Club with private plunge pools, a Tone Fitness Center and many other guest amenities.
The new Nikki Beach resort and spa @ The Pearl, a Riviera-style island in the Persian Gulf, is scheduled to open in June, 2012. A multi-phase, mixed-use development with 10 distinct themed districts in Doha, the capital of Qatar, The Pearl is the first international real estate venture in the world’s wealthiest country per capita.
At a recent ceremony in Cannes, Joseph D. Cinque, president and CEO of the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences presented the award to Mr. Arab, Claudio Roscigno, regional director of sales and marketing Nikki Beach, EMEA and Daniele Vastolo, group director of operations, Nikki Beach EMEA.
The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences bestows its International Star Diamond Award exclusively to five- and six-star quality hotels, spas, golf courses, restaurants, chefs, destinations, airlines, cruise lines and products.
