London, UK (PRWEB) January 04, 2012
The Venezuelan freight transport industry is unlikely to witness strong growth during 2012, with political risk factors expected to keep on looming in view of the on-coming residential and gubernatorial elections in October next year.
Followed by shipping, air freight is forecast to lead the way. Its volume carried in 2012 will expand by 3.7% to 1.78 million tons/km, faster than GDP, but still a marginal slowdown on 2011. However, none of the transport modes are expected to see volume growth exceeding 4%.
