Utilities Analyses, Inc. (UAI), a leading national energy supply management firm with a focus on energy supply-side services and risk management strategies, announces the appointment of Ken Eisdorfer as the new Senior Director of Strategy and Research. Eisdorfer will focus on analyzing new utility rate cases, regulatory and market strategies, and on providing utility rate forecasting services to clients.

During his 34 years in the industry, Eisdorfer has focused intently on the regulatory, financial and operational side of the business. Cost-of-service, class revenue distribution, and rate issues are among his particular specialties. Prior to joining UAI, Eisdorfer was the director of utility rate optimization and consulting for Ameresco, Inc., a major energy services firm. From 1981-1997, he was a principal at the rate consulting firm of Cook, Eisdorfer & Associates, where he testified as an expert witness in over 100 utility rate case proceedings. Eisdorfer began his utility-related career as a rate analyst at Drazen-Brubaker & Associates.

Eisdorfer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and has a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Baruch College of the City University of New York.
