A project through Kickstarter is aiming to bring epic planetary warfare to the palm of your hands. T.R.E.K. Orbital Artillery, a game being developed by PyroElectric Games, is shooting to be the latest hit in the fast growing mobile gaming market, but only if they can raise the funds needed to complete development.

T.R.E.K. Orbital Artillery is the first game of its kind that will allow a player the satisfaction of orbital bombardments with the reward of an epic planetary explosion. Designed as a physics based artillery game, the player will have to angle the shot, set the power and fire through a solar-system of planets, moons and asteroids all of which are orbiting a massive sun. Needless to say, this gameplay design opens the door for some EPIC trick-shots. T.R.E.K. Orbital Artillery has been built for iOS devices (iPad / iPhone), but with additional funding, plans are in works for an Android version.

In the story of T.R.E.K. Orbital Artillery, the player plays as rookie commander in the T.R.E.K. corporation (acronym contest listed on the Kickstarter project), a rag tag mercenary group that specializes in creative diplomacy (a.k.a. bang... bang... kaboom!). The player will be sent to various planets, given funds and asked to help in local disputes. As the game progresses, the player will collect spoils from victories, rise in rank, discover new technologies, unlock new galaxies and eventually be able to play online with friends.

After creating a working concept of the game and saw the great potential, the developers of T.R.E.K. Orbital Artillery, have turned to to help raise funds to complete the development of this game.

“We are looking to raise funds to enhance the artwork, add music/sound FX, develop an Android version and most importantly add multiplayer support. The current plan is to launch the game with a single player campaign mode with multiplayer following soon as a free update,” say Fazri Zubair, founder of PyroElectric Games.

For Fazri, seemed the perfect fit for their project and with a little support from the Kickstarter community they feel that they can make T.R.E.K Orbital Artillery the best it can be.
