Actress, TV Personality La La Anthony Partners with Internet Mogul Loren Ridinger to Create “Motives for La La” Cosmetics Line

An extension of the award-winning Motives® by Loren Ridinger® cosmetics line, this new partnership is set to launch at Market America 2012 World Conference in Miami on February 2.

La La Anthony, entertainer and star of VH1’s hit series La La’s Full Court Life, has teamed up with longtime friend Loren Ridinger, senior vice president of Market America/ and creator of the award-winning Motives® by Loren Ridinger® cosmetics line, to create Motives® for La La, a line of makeup uniquely-formulated for every shade of today’s modern woman.

Motives for La La includes mineral base lipsticks, blushes, lip shines and more, and will be formally introduced next month at Market America’s 2012 World Conference at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL. This three-day event, attended by 25,000 people, showcases the company’s newest initiatives, latest products and exciting new business opportunities. La La is scheduled to appear on stage with Loren to launch the product line.

La La made it a point to emphasize colors and products for African American and Latina women, due to the lack of prominence many beauty lines place on ethnic markets. Motives by La La achieves this goal, as the partnership between La La and Loren has resulted in a line that shares their love of makeup through products and colors that give a complete look – eyes, cheeks, lips – for women of every shade.

“Having my name on a cosmetics line has always been a dream, one I’m excited to share,” La La said. “Every girl always tries to find that perfect color or shade that suits their personality, and now she can do it easily and affordably.”    

Through her own life story – as a young woman blazing her own path to find success in the media and entertainment industries – or through the many philanthropic causes she takes up, La La has always seen herself as a role model for others. With this partnership, La La has found a perfect ally in Loren and her Motives cosmetics brand.

The line contains six product types – lipsticks, lip shines, eyeshadows, blushes and shimmer – that showcase La La’s distinct style. With powerful color combinations and exclusive branding that includes names like Red Carpet, Dreamer, Off Broadway, Backstage and more, Motives for La La is a perfect blend of runway and everyday styles embodying the woman this line was created for.

La La Anthony has been making her own way since the age of 16, when she landed her first job at an Atlanta radio station. She has parlayed her charismatic personality and tireless work ethic into a successful media career, from her beginnings on radio, followed by television – first as a VJ with MTV, then as the star of the current hit reality show La La’s Full Court Life on VH1 – and the silver screen, both on- and off-camera, appearing in the upcoming feature film “Think Like a Man.” In addition, last October La La completed her off-Broadway run in “Love, Loss and What I Wore.” La La runs the entertainment company Krossover Productions, which produced the critically-acclaimed documentary “Tyson,” winner of Regard Knockout Award at the Un Certain Regard event during the 2008 Cannes Film Festival.
