Vaultas (http://www.vaultas.com), a premier provider of collaborative, vendor-neutral data center, collocation and BCDR (business continuity and disaster recovery) facilities in the Upper Midwest, today announced the appointment of Rick Lenarz as the company’s new Director of Business Development. Mr. Lenarz will lead Vaultas’ efforts to secure new accounts and create partnerships and relationships within the IT community in Central Minnesota, along with helping provide IT customers with solid primary and backup data center solutions throughout Minnesota.

“We are pleased to bring Rick on board to represent our growing team, and to foster collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships with telcos, IT organizations and managed service providers across the state” said John Unger, Vaultas CEO. “His background, leadership capabilities and knowledge of technology integration and implementation make him well-suited for this position. We look forward to continued growth for our organization and delivering first-class data center and collocation solutions throughout the Upper Midwest.”

A long standing member of the community, Lenarz has extensive experience building community relationships and programs throughout Northwest Minnesota as Area Director with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. “Vaultas’ strategically located facilities and their affordable primary and backup data center solutions make this a distinct choice for the local IT community,” said Lenarz. “This opportunity will allow me to expand upon the strong relationships I’ve built over the years, while leveraging my strong background in various technology and manufacturing sectors. I look forward to designing and building IT solutions and meeting our customers’ ever-expanding technology and data needs with Vaultas’ premier collocation and data center solutions.”

Vaultas develops, owns, and operates vendor-neutral collocation data centers and business continuity and disaster recovery facilities that provide customers with secure, strategically located, private and semiprivate data center solutions that meet even the most stringent strategic and technical requirements. Vaultas’ vendor-neutral environments reduce TCO (total cost of ownership) for clients through effective use of infrastructure, vendor collaboration, network consolidation, energy conservation and strategic partnering.
