We are very excited to be joining these new stock video agencies.

Eyeidea has produced stock video and photos for over a decade, expansion of distribution is a natural progression. Now, in addition to iStockphoto.com Eyeidea will provide clients with access to thousands of stock video files at additional web sites.
Eyeidea joined iStockphoto's exclusive video contributor program in 2006 and immediately shot to the top becoming the #1 video contributor. Eyeidea later became a double diamond contributor at iStock, a rank held by very few out of the tens of thousands of iStock contributors worldwide.
Until now the entire Eyeidea portfolio has been available exclusively at iStockphoto.com and Getty Images. "Changes in iStockphoto's royalty structure forced us to look at new opportunities" said Chad J.W. Anderson, artist and CEO at Eyeidea Inc. "We are not pulling our portfolio, we are staying with iStock / Getty Images as a non-exclusive contributor. We are very grateful for the success we've had with them, they are great people, unfortunately they've had to make some business decisions that have made it impossible for us to stay exclusive with them".
Eyeidea is now non-exclusive and has expanded distribution to a few select agencies including Shutterstock.com, Pond5.com, Revostock.com and Fotolia.com. "We are very excited to be joining these new stock video agencies. We are very picky about who will be representing the Eyeidea portfolio of stock media files. Not all stock video sites are up to our quality standards. We chose the best of the best." Anderson said. The entire Eyeidea video and animation portfolio of over 4,000 files will be available at these sites January, 2012. Eyeidea also left the iStockphoto photo exclusivity program in 2010 and has images available at many popular stock photo sites.
"There has been a lot of debate with the agencies in the microstock industry about royalties. We all have to make tough decisions and do what we feel is right for ourselves. The agencies have to make their decisions and we, the contributors, have to decide what is acceptable to us" Anderson said.
