For the second year in a row John McGeough and Anthony Lamacchia, co-brokers/owners of McGeough Lamacchia Realty Inc., sold more homes in Massachusetts than any other agents or teams. With 322 sales under the McGeough Lamacchia Team in MLS for 2011, that puts them in the #1 slot once again and shows more than a 10% increase over their total of 287 sales in Massachusetts last year.

In addition to the 322 sales in Massachusetts, the McGeough Lamacchia Team had 34 sales in New Hampshire and 6 in Rhode Island for a total of 362 sales overall. This doesn’t include their great agents in the field who help buyers find homes even if the homes aren’t listed under McGeough Lamacchia Realty. These agents helped 38 buyers get into their dream homes.
As a company McGeough Lamacchia Realty sold 400 homes in 2011, 87 more transactions than in 2010 when they sold a total of 313 homes. This represents a 21.75% increase over last year.
McGeough Lamacchia also listed a total of 433 homes, which are more listings than any other agents or teams in Massachusetts. And they sell homes across the entire state, not just one area. McGeough Lamacchia sold homes in 148 cities and towns across Massachusetts in 2011.
“We have proven year after year that there are no geographic restrictions to where we can sell homes effectively in Massachusetts,” says John McGeough.
To keep up with the increase in home sales, McGeough Lamacchia Realty again expanded their office space.
In December McGeough Lamacchia increased their office space by 1100 square feet by adding two offices and space for an additional 7 cubes as well as a lunch room for the staff. They also purchased another Ford Transit Connect company vehicle and added another full time field specialist to be sure they are ready for 2012.
“2012 will be a big year, we expect to sell well over 500 homes and it is important to us that we are prepared to do it without decreasing customer service to clients,” says Anthony Lamacchia.
McGeough Lamacchia spends a lot of time training its entire staff to be sure everyone is acting in a consistent manner and performing at the highest level.
