New Social Software Significantly Improves Business Productivity

Trilog Group today announced the availability of three new social project management offerings designed to help organizations around the globe to complete projects more effectively.

Trilog’s ProjExec social project management software enables more effective execution of business processes by combining the features of a world-class social collaboration platform while also providing all of the functionality and rigorous management capabilities required by professional project managers. This is a stark contrast to lightweight project collaboration software offerings that often ignore the needs of the project manager.

Cloud-based ProjExec Live extends the IBM SmartCloud for Social Business service to deliver the social project collaboration experience, built around the structure of a real project plan. Trilog’s two other new offerings, ProjExec 5.1 for IBM Connections, and ProjExec 5.1 for IBM Lotus Quickr, provide the same powerful social project management capabilities to on-premise IBM social software customers.

The core social feature of ProjExec is a familiar Facebook-like user interface called the Project Wall. The Project Wall offers a powerful multi-project activity stream with micro-blogging and event aggregation capabilities that streamlines communications on multiple projects simultaneously and provides visibility across project activities and project-related information. Project management processes are now seamlessly integrated with IBM Connections Profiles, Activities, Communities and Files, as well as IBM Lotus Quickr Files and Spaces.
