The Mei Hua Society will be celebrating the Year of The Dragon on Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM on February 8, 2012 at the Peking Duck House, 236 E. 53rd St., New York, NY. All proceeds will benefit Chinatown Manpower Project, Inc., which provides job readiness training.

The Mei Hua Society is pleased to announce that we will be celebrating the Year of The Dragon at our annual Chinese New Year Banquet on Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM February 8, 2012 at The Peking Duck House, 236 East 53rd St, New York, NY.

This year’s banquet will benefit Chinatown Manpower Project, Inc. Celebrating 40 years in the community, CMP provides jobs readiness, skill training, and employment, education and business development opportunities to approximately 3,000 individuals annually.

The Mei Hua Society was founded in 2006 to share knowledge of Chinese culture and to support groups in New York City that promote Asian culture or offer social services to Asians.
