We make it simple to integrate with the exchanges for trading muti-leg options while offering 15c3-5 compliance at ultra low latency
New York, NY (PRWEB) January 11, 2012
Fundamental Interactions Inc announces the addition of complex options to the list of supported instruments available over its Fast Proxy solution. Fast Proxy is an ultra low latency routing and pre-trade risk gateway that provides 15c3-5 compliance to broker dealers and their trading clients.
Support for complex options was added to the product in the fourth quarter of 2011 to meet the requirements of several institutional firms that had historically used the system for trading in equities and single leg options. Fast Proxy supports routing to the nine US options exchanges for single leg options and has now added support for the five exchanges among them that support complex options.
"Fast Proxy can run in various modes to make it easy for clients to integrate with their existing systems" says Julian Jacobson, Fundamental Interactions President and COO. This includes normalized FIX, virtual FIX and proxy FIX. Using normalized FIX, a client can use a single format and a common set of FIX tags to send orders to the various venues. In virtual FIX mode clients use the FIX mappings specified by each of the venues but can also utilize a set of custom tags specific to the FI platform in order to send ALGO orders, smart routing, etc. In proxy FIX mode clients can use FI as a simple pass through, where no tags are modified and all information is mirrored back as if the client was sending the orders directly to the exchanges.
