Leonardo Deangelo’s new novel “The Crystal Cave” (published by AuthorHouse) is a fast-paced, emotional magical roller coaster ride of adventure. This book is about Sam and his dog, Spot. It highlights the closeness of a young boy and his dog that stick together through new strange incredible circumstances and events.
An Excerpt from the book:
“Sam said, ‘Leave Spot alone, you ugly, hairy creature you will have to deal with me first.’ Though he knew there was not much he could really do to stop her. As it turned for Sam, Spot moved in behind it and again bit it on its leg this did not go well with the Zinger, she was now furious and let out a high pitched shill sound. This was their worse sound, it was a sound not heard often because it usually meant a high degree of frustration. The Zinger raised its front arms and straightened its stinger this was it she was about to strike and kill someone soon.”
Sam and Spot are placed in frightening situations but this never diminishes their friendship or love for each other. A witch with no heart commands an array of magical evil creatures with only one good witch to stand up and face her. Dinosaurs are brought back to fight an army of the dead warriors. “The Crystal Cave” fills each page with action, adventure and magic designed to warm the heart and excite the mind.
Deangelo previously published the children’s book “The Rat That Tricked the Cat.”
