Liberty University is standing out as a leader in online higher education. In the first annual Smart Choice ranking, Liberty University Online’s Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree ranked among the top 25 M.B.A. programs in the country.
For the list, SuperScholar, an online education database, researched all the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and regionally accredited online M.B.A. programs in the United States, basing their rankings on the institutions’ recognition and awards, accreditation, cost, admissions selectivity, and market reputation to help prospective students identify the best university to help them meet their goals.
The ranking shows Liberty's program to be the most cost-effective option.
It also showcases the quality of programs at non-profit schools, as all but one school on the list is non-profit.
Liberty’s M.B.A. program is fully accredited, taught from a Christian worldview and can be earned entirely online. The program’s seasoned faculty members believe ethical standards are critical to effective business decisions and are committed to applying ethics to management principles.
Miriam Hankins, an M.B.A. graduate and honor student, not only earned her diploma, but was challenged to grow as a professional through Liberty’s online business classes.
“My attendance at Liberty provided me with the necessary next level of skills and resources to become a servant leader who is interested not only in growing people, but excelling in the ability to motivate others and meet personal and business objectives,” she said.
Students of the M.B.A. program can tailor their education to meet their professional goals by choosing from one of eight areas of study in accounting, criminal justice, healthcare management, human resources, international business, leadership, marketing, project management, public administration and public relations.
Liberty University, located in Lynchburg, Va., is the world’s largest Christian university. More than 12,000 students attend classes on its 6,500-acre residential campus and more than 61,000 study in its thriving online education program.
