Marc Newson’s work is incredibly unique and has resulted in some of the most architecturally interesting dinnerware that Noritake has produced.
New York, NY (PRWEB) January 11, 2012
Noritake is thrilled to announce the availability of a new line of dinnerware, especially designed and manufactured for the skies.
In 2006, Qantas Airways, Australia’s market leader in the world of air travel, appointed world-famous designer Marc Newson to redesign the interior of the company’s international fleet. This included the dinnerware; Noritake has been the airline’s supplier for over 25 years.
“The Marc Newson collection is the first offering in our upcoming International Collection,” says Peter Goldberger, Executive Vice President of Noritake’s Tabletop division. “It’s more than a dinnerware story, it’s a design story. Marc Newson’s work is incredibly unique and has resulted in some of the most architecturally interesting dinnerware that Noritake has produced.”
The result is a collection of the finest bone china, featuring a combination of stunning contemporary design and brilliant functionality. The collection available for purchase includes a 20-piece set, which includes service for 4, and a number of individual items to be purchased separately. Retail prices range from $35 to $300.
In addition to this collection, coming soon to Noritake’s US website are other patterns not before offered in the United States. These patterns have been popular overseas, and are being translated to the US market as both full patterns for purchase, and individual items that are perfect as gifts.
The Marc Newson Collection from Noritake is available online in the United States at Noritake.com. You can sign up to receive emails with future product and sale announcements, or connect with Noritake on Facebook or Twitter.
