MEA is proud to announce two learning opportunities featuring hands-on training; Construction Inspector Training (March 5-8, 2012) and Leak Detection Training (March 19-21, 2012). Both are being presented at the Ameren Training Facility in Pawnee, IL.
We have added more hands-on experience and extended the Construction Inspector class by a half day. The Construction Inspector Training Seminar is a comprehensive 2.5 day classroom and hands-on course covering the best practices in Construction Inspection, including engineering information, real estate requirements, welding procedures, cathodic protection and purging and tie-ins. Tuesday, will be dedicated to "A Day In the Field of a Construction Inspector". We will be in the field (weather permitting), attendees should bring appropriate clothing.
Ron Six of AEGIS Insurance Service, Inc. will present Leak Detection Training. The seminar will include discussions, demonstrations, and case studies aimed at understanding field application of leak detection. We will be in the field for a leak investigation demonstration (weather permitting). Attendees should bring the leak detection equipment that they utilize on the job for the field demonstration.
