IpVenture, Inc., a technology development and licensing company, announced that it has settled a patent infringement lawsuit between IpVenture and Fujitsu.
IpVenture, Inc. owns U.S. Patent Nos. 5,752,011; 5,974,557; 6,216,235; 6,487,668; 7,167,993; 7,293,186; 7,418,611; 7,506,190; and 7,937,599 (the “Thomas Power and Thermal Management Patent Portfolio”).
In July of 2011, IpVenture, Inc. filed a patent infringement lawsuit (Case No. 1:11-cv-00588-RGA) in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware against Fujitsu America Inc. and Fujitsu Limited, among other parties. IpVenture and Fujitsu agreed to settle the lawsuit and the lawsuit has since been dismissed with respect to Fujitsu. As part of the settlement, Fujitsu has taken a license to the Thomas Power and Thermal Management Patent Portfolio.
