Kim Evered joins SBOA Tenant Insurance as Director of Marketing

SBOA Tenant Insurance (SBOATI), an affiliate of the Storage Business Owners Alliance (SBOA), announces the appointment of Kim Evered as the Director of Marketing. Kim brings to SBOATI more than 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, and client services, including extensive experience in the self storage industry.

Most recently Kim was the Client Services Manager and Solutions Marketing Manager, respectively, at G5, the largest provider of Internet Marketing Solutions for mid-market companies in the storage industry. At G5, she was integral to the growth of the company from a start-up to an industry-leader, with more than 3,000 properties on the G5 platform.

Previously, Kim served as Inside Sales & Marketing Manager at PV Powered, a high-growth solar inverter manufacturer in Bend, Oregon.

SBOATI also announces the promotion of Mario Macaluso to Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Mario has been a leader in developing the SBOA Tenant Insurance program since its inception, and has signed the more than 1,000 self storage locations now participating in the program, all achieved in less than one year.

SBOATI was created “By self storage owners, For self storage owners” to create an opportunity for owners and operators to provide a great product and service to their customers.
