Saint Leo University offers business professionals a New Year’s challenge: Enroll in one of the online MBA programs, and take a step toward becoming more effective in the global marketplace. The registration deadline for Saint Leo’s second spring term is February 29, 2012. Classes start March 5, and end April 29.

Saint Leo University prepares online MBA students to analyze and resolve complex business problems, teaching them the skills necessary to become successful leaders. Online MBA programs are a flexible, convenient option for experienced professionals who want to advance in their careers, gain new skills, and integrate education into their already busy lives.

Saint Leo students can choose between several online MBA program concentrations: accounting, health care management, human resource management, information security management, marketing, and sport business. With director approval, students can pursue up to two MBA concentrations concurrently.

The online MBA is accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), a professional accreditor for business programs in student-centered colleges and universities throughout the world. Saint Leo also has university-wide regional accreditation, the highest form of institutional accreditation a college or university can obtain.

Saint Leo’s distinguished faculty brings extensive management experience to the classroom. Dr. Michael Nastanski, Dean of the Donald R. Tapia School of Business, formerly served as the executive director of Global Business Development and Marketing for Elcotel, Inc. And Dr. B. Tim Lowder, assistant professor of management and chair of the Department of Management & Business Administration, has held numerous senior executive positions in business, and authored many articles featured in industry and academic publications.

At the beginning of the fall semester 2011, Saint Leo University opened a $12 million sustainable and technologically-enhanced School of Business building. Now with state-of-the-art technologies at their disposal, MBA faculty have an enhanced arsenal of tools for engaging students on campus and online.

Admission to Saint Leo University is a simple, straightforward process, but prospective students need to plan ahead. Before the start of the term in which they wish to enroll, students must submit the following: an online application, a current resume, two professional recommendations, and a written statement that outlines educational and career goals. GMAT scores are not required with a GPA of least 3.0 in the last 60 hours of a bachelor’s degree, and if the student has five or more years of professional experience. If applicants meet the requirements, they will be interviewed.
