Excelsior, MN (PRWEB) January 13, 2012
Shorewood Media, LLC, today announced the first release of their social news source manager, Kermba, now available free for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Focused mainly towards political news and commentary, Kermba allows a community of users to categorize, sort, search, and view news sources according to a distinct set characteristics.
Kermba provides ready access to content from a growing list of news sources from around the world, but its real strength is enabling a community of users to interact with the news sources’ characteristics as expressed by their composite opinions. Using Kermba, news sources can be searched, filtered and sorted by viewpoint, bias, fairness, and even highlighted in gradients of color (blue to red) according to viewpoint. Article titles and authors may be searched for names and keywords across any or all news sources with a single click. Article links may also be emailed, posted to Facebook, and saved for quick access later.
Shorewood Media has also launched a companion web site, kermba.com. Here, users can unlock the full potential of the app by registering to participate in the Kermba community. Kermba.com also provides readers with an assortment of news articles and commentary as selected by Kermba editors.
Kermba is now available free from Apple's App Store for iPhone and iPod Touch or by visiting: http://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/shorewood-media/id488585995.
