“MEDSEEK has a proven track record of providing industry-leading strategic patient management solutions”

MEDSEEK, the industry’s only provider of the optimal 360-degree online healthcare experience, today announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with OnX, a leading North American enterprise data center IT solutions provider. OnX will leverage MEDSEEK’s strategic patient management solutions and OnX’s Federated Cloud Framework to help healthcare organizations optimize their IT investments.

“MEDSEEK has a proven track record of providing industry-leading strategic patient management solutions,” said Ed Vos, CEO and President of OnX. “Their experience and track record aligns well with OnX and we share a common focus on reducing the cost of health care, delivering more responsive patient services, and addressing the challenges of delivering the highest quality patient care across the entire continuum of care.”

“MEDSEEK is an ideal partner for OnX and our clinically trained team of healthcare solutions experts,” added Chris Carbone, Vice President of Sales - Healthcare Practice, OnX. “The business of health care is changing and it has caused a paradigm shift in healthcare information technology. MEDSEEK and OnX are both focused on world class solutions that make a difference in the future of health care in North America.”

The deal allows OnX to distribute all of MEDSEEK’s enterprise strategic patient engagement solutions, including clinical, consumer, employee and patient technology, to provide a 360-degree digital health experience. By reselling these solutions and supporting referral business, MEDSEEK and OnX will expand MEDSEEK solutions throughout Canada and enable OnX to continue to expand its healthcare practice.

“It’s the right partnership for both of our organizations,” said Peter Kuhn, MEDSEEK CEO. “There is a need for more Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) to provide physicians with access to an integrated view of patient records. Today, MEDSEEK provides Canadian physicians a unified view of more than 5.5 million patient records in the Ontario region and that success, together with the accelerating deployment of digital health solutions, demands that we increase our presence in Canada. With their deep expertise in this area, OnX is ideally positioned to help us achieve this.”

The partnership also allows OnX to resell MEDSEEK’s state-of-the-art predictive analytics tools that help hospitals find valuable patients who are more likely to use services that are relevant to them, create and execute cost-effective, personalized marketing campaigns, and provide a consistently higher return on marketing investment.
