We love putting together outstanding private events in Manhattan, and Crimson is the perfect full-service event venue for such a star-studded celebration.

Manhattan event planner Metronome Hospitality Group is no stranger to hosting red carpet events at its spectacular NYC venues, so it came as no surprise when the New York Film Critics Circle selected Crimson for their 77th annual awards presentation this past Monday. This marks the third consecutive year Crimson was chosen as the location for the NYFCC Awards thanks to Metronome’s full-service facilities and on-site event planning experts.

A great roster of celebrities including Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Meryl Streep and many others worked the red carpet for a whole flock of photographers before entering through tight security. Pitt took the award for Best Actor for his role in the film “Moneyball” with Streep taking home Best Actress for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in “The Iron Lady.” Michel Hazanavicius took home an award for his Best Picture-winning silent film “The Artist.”

Alli Hertz, Director of Special Events for Metronome Hospitality Group, considers the third consecutive selection of Crimson as a big win for Metronome. “We’re delighted to welcome the NYFCC Awards again this year, because they have been a fabulous client year after year. We love putting together outstanding private events in Manhattan, and Crimson is the perfect full-service event venue for such a star-studded celebration.”

No stranger to celebrity sightings and exclusive NYC parties, Metronome Hospitality Group offers event planning and private function facilities at each of their five venues: Lexicon on E 54th, Providence on W 57th, Crimson on Broadway at 21st, Triumph Room on W 57th, each in the heart of Manhattan, and Providence at Tropicana in Atlantic City, NJ. Metronome’s facilities are also instantly recognizable, having been used in a number of blockbuster movies – including Tom Hanks’ “Big”, Kate Hudson’s “Something Borrowed” and Samuel L. Jackson’s “Shaft” – as well as television shows like “Sex & the City.”

Metronome’s venues have also played host to Broadway premiere parties, movie and TV season wrap parties, and of course countless awards parties. Metronome’s NYC event planners have worked with a number of corporate clients for product launches, fundraisers, luncheons and an endless list of holiday parties. Metronome also works with many individual clients for birthday parties, bar and bat mitzvahs, wedding receptions and all other types of events.

Metronome Founder and COO Bob Pereira appreciates events like the NYFCC Awards for the attention it garners. “It’s great when clients see red carpet photos of the biggest celebrities and think, ‘what an amazing facility’ sometimes without even realizing they can book these same venues for their own events. Anyone looking to book a Manhattan venue can give us a call and throw a private party right here in the city at any one of our locations.”
