Here at Gap Daemon we are pushing the boundaries of how a 21st century travel guide can support you interactively on your travels
London, UK (PRWEB UK) 15 January 2012
Gap Daemon’s map based technology has been developed by their team in the Ukraine, and is proving popular among young travellers who can explore travel guides, find fellow travellers, share advice and easily update friends and family back home while on the move. This innovative new site is run by ex Levi Strauss USA President, James Capon.
“Web enabled technology is allowing today’s young travellers to explore the world in a different way to previous generations. No more carrying heavy books and maps, everything is on-line or even in the palm of the hand. Here at Gap Daemon we are pushing the boundaries of how a 21st century travel guide can support you interactively on your travels.”
Gap Daemon is targeting the growing number of young adults across the globe that are choosing to take an extended period of travel, rather than jump straight into work or further education. Recent research by American Express puts this market at 2.5million young adults in 2012.
Gap Daemon is currently seeking tenders for the app development, and is keen to speak to innovative and technically sound developers who are interested in working in the growing sector of young independent travel and social networking.
Email Jim(at)gapdaemon(dot)com if you would like to be considered in the tender process.
