Dr. John Nagl

VoicePlate.com, a Southern Calif.-based web development and hosting company, today announced the appointment of Dr. John A. Nagl (Lt. Col. U.S. Army Retired) to its board of directors.

“VoicePlate.com is a unique forum and has the potential to change how people search for careers and communicate,” said Dr. Nagl, president of the Center for a New American Security. “We plan to work with the general workforce, active duty military members, veterans and military families to help them secure employment and work to reduce the overall unemployment rate.”

VoicePlate will provide free accounts to active duty military personnel and military personnel transitioning to civilian life, giving them a platform to showcase their skills to potential employers. VoicePlate.com helps users easily create world-class websites for themselves, a business, an event or a presentation. In addition, VoicePlate.com helps employees and employers connect. All VoicePlate.com sites are search engine friendly and indexed by all popular search engines. The sites are mobile compatible with iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry, Android devices and other smartphones.

“The transition from military life to civilian life is disorienting,” added Dr. Nagl. “I had friends help me with the transition, but many veterans do not have an existing support network. In today’s world, having a website and access to digital applications is vital. VoicePlate provides veterans a way to present their talents to the world, make contacts and find employers – it allows veterans to unleash their inner entrepreneur and helps both employees and employers find that needle in the haystack relationship.”
