MAP™ is a wireless smart-streaming desktop media unit that enables content playback across all Android, iOS, Windows Mobile and RIM devices. N Square provides MAP™ turn-key technology to audio manufacturers across the globe for a cost and time effective alternative in product development. The MAP™ service is integrated in to physical media hubs so that users can stream any digital content from a media library to a flat-screen TV for example and control it all through their smartphone.
MAP™ users never have to connect their device to their computer to transfer content and can access their entire music collection at home, on the go or overseas, via the embedded MyMusic Smart Cloud service. Once MAP™ phone app is downloaded and installed on to a smartphone, it can automatically recognise a MAP™ under the same Wi-Fi network and reproduce high quality music at the MAP™ local speaker systems.
Not limited to just music, MAP™ can stream any digital content including, photos, video, web content and it also has the capability of turning a TV in to a Smart TV, or a desktop Android system to act as a media hub while also running most Android apps on large-screen TVs, including the likes of YouTube, BBC News, Facebook and Angry Birds.
Catch Media, together with Now Advertising Production Limited (NowOnline), an international hi-tech targeted mobile advertising company based in Hong Kong, has converted Play Anywhere® technology in to two applications. The first is a scan-and-match cloud music service to smartphones called MyMusic, one of the few licensed cloud music services supported by music labels and publishers. The second application is a music rights protection technology and sub-licensing service called AirMusic license.
