Consequences, a dark comedy about eight ex-convicts court-ordered to attend a support group to help them reintegrate into every day life, releases it’s Season One Finale on January 18, 2012. The series is from the creative mind of Darrin Yalacki (Creator, Writer and Executive Producer) Michael May (Director) Lindsay Harbert (Producer) and Katie Bogart Ward (Producer) and stars Jill Czarnowski, Misa Doi, Ronnie Karam, Ashley Knaysi, Shaun Landry, Sashen Naicker, Amanda Ohly, Marco Tazioli and Tilt Tyree.

A mixture of “Reno 911” and the storytelling structure of “Lost,” each episode follows one of the eight ex-convicts. Through flashbacks, the viewer gets a glimpse into the characters' past and current lives. The webseries finds the humor and the dramatic moments with each character while it navigates through the twists and turns of unexpected connections. It has a multi-ethnic ensemble cast in a well thought out world where the ethnicities and ex-convicts aren’t based on stereotypes, such as a thieving clown to a tap-dancing drug dealer.

“Consequences is a dream job,” says African-American actress Shaun Landry who portrays Martha Conroy. “Why? Because the script was incredible. I didn’t have to stand in front of the mirror getting my mouth to incorrectly pronounce 'Ask' into 'Axe.' Martha is actually one of those kind of criminals who, with all of her faults and a mile high record, does have some kindness under the crazy. She was not ghetto.”

“It’s an interesting project from a director’s point of view,” says Michael May. “We have a unique structure focused on individual characters and their lives. I found this to be the most interesting and challenging aspect of the project. I saw the chance to try a million different things as a director because each episode provided new styles from fight scenes to music videos! It’s a playground for a filmmaker.”

Consequences includes a cast of over fifty actors and over forty locations which was shot, edited and released in just under one year on a very small budget. The 10-episode series launched on November 9, 2011 on con-sequences.com and other distribution networks including; tvgasm.com, webserieschannel.com, blip.tv, Roku, Sony Bivl, and more.

“Our fan base is growing every day and the viewers like the series,” says creator Darrin Yalacki. “I got to make the project I wanted to make and I am flattered when I read the comments that say the writing is amazing and the cast is great.”

The first season of "Consequences" concludes on January 18th, but additional content will be released, including; cast interviews, outtakes, behind-the-scenes and mini-episodes. In addition the cast, crew and creator are blogging about their experience at consequencesweb.wordpress.com while on hiatus.

"Right now I am searching for funding for Season Two,” says Darrin. “We end on a huge cliffhanger so we are pretty much committed to doing more, or at least finding a way to wrap things up. It’s truly a unique show - once you hit the end you can watch it again and you will see things differently, which will make you wonder what will happen in Season Two.”
