“What makes our gym special is the community within and around the club,” said Sharon Sellers, fitness and operations manager of Rock Creek. “We are what is becoming a rarity in this industry—an independently owned neighborhood gym. Staff and members stay a long time and truly care about each other, which contributes to the sense of community.”

Rock Creek is a neighborhood gym and fitness center located at the junction of Silver Spring, Chevy Chase and Northwest Washington, D.C. The club offers classes in yoga, Pilates, kickboxing, cycle, Zumba, muscle sculpt and meditation. Its fitness equipment includes leading brands such as Lifefitness, Hammer Strength, Precor, Freemotion, Startrac and Cybex.
