Good news for Physicians and Dentists looking for individual disability insurance..

DIQuotes.com, a website dedicated to providing physicians and dentists nationwide with disability insurance quotes and information, is pleased to announce the release of a new disability insurance product by Guardian and Berkshire.

Effective January 3rd, The new ProVider Plus series will offer members of the medical & dental community a variety of choices and brand new features. Among the most significant are -
The Choice of True Own-Occupation or Modified Own-Occupation definition of disability.
Benefit Purchase Rider - a no cost option to increase coverage in the future
The Lump Sum Disability Benefit Rider - a state-of-the-art, patent pending option that provides a lump sum benefit at policy expiration.
Increased benefit limits for their retirement protection plus program.

The new product is currently approved in 39 states nationwide with additional state approvals expected throughout the first quarter and remainder of 2012.

Guardian/Berkshire is one of the leading providers of individual disability insurance to physicians and dentists.

“The flexibility and choice offered with the new Guardian series reflects a continued trend in recent years of improved options available to physicians within the disability insurance marketplace,” says Thomas Lloyd, a partner of DIQuotes.com.

Many more insurance carriers now offer own occupation coverage to dentists and physicians than in years past - allowing for more options and better prices in many cases. 10 years ago - there were less than 3 carriers offering this level of protection to members of both business communities.

Thomas Lloyd added a note of caution though.

“This market is extremely volatile so changes may occur very quickly. I recommend to anyone who may have hesitated in the past about obtaining this form of coverage to get it now before these options possibly disappear.”

Speak to your disability insurance specialist or financial planner about whether or not this form of coverage meets your specific needs.
