Plano, Texas (PRWEB) January 18, 2012
HealthTech Solutions Group, a leading provider of healthcare information technology and revenue cycle management solutions, today announced the introduction of an exciting new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) based application, myClaimIQ AlphaCollector that improves collector productivity by as much as 50 percent.
Drawing from over 40 years of experience delivering financial services and solutions, HealthTech’s myClaimIQ AlphaCollector drives maximum efficiency within the collections process.
"Our experience with many of the hospitals and physician practices that we've worked with over the years has shown that many have outdated, very inefficient billing and collections software platforms. The result is hospitals fail to collect hundreds of thousands of dollars in patient revenue, which leads to poor financial performance and overall instability," said Derek Morkel, CEO of HealthTech Solutions Group.
HealthTech's myClaimIQ AlphaCollector was designed by company software engineers and is continually tested and updated by its own Central Business Office located in Plano, Texas. The company has fine-tuned its new collections management and efficiency software to significantly outperform many leading competitors.
"Our software is highly efficient and can increase collector productivity by upwards of 50 percent, and up to 75 percent when used in conjunction with HealthTech's myClaimIQ AutoStatus," said Morkel. "We have also tested it against other leading collections products and found that our solution can perform equal tasks with less steps. For example, it takes 13 steps to work an account on a competitor's software platform, while it only takes 3 steps to perform the same process on HealthTech's myClaimIQ AlphaCollector. This is a huge improvement, and can save a collector several hours a day."
myClaimIQ AlphaCollector features state-of-the-art reporting functionality that improves management oversight of a hospital's collections process and collector productivity. In addition, the tool has its own embedded business intelligence tool that uses pivot table technology to analyze AR on any data points and for multiple facilities including the ability to drill down to individual accounts. Hospitals using the software can consolidate all collections activity into one system, as the software is compatible with their existing billing and collections systems. This capability allows hospitals with multiple entities such as physician practices, home health and long-term care facilities to streamline AR activity into one system further improving efficiency and cost savings.
The new software application is part of HealthTech's line of SaaS-based tools to increase revenue cycle performance and efficiency; thus boost the financial strength of the company's clients. The solutions are targeted at community hospitals seeking high-performing yet affordable software solutions to improve their financial viability.
"HealthTech's software solutions provide an alternative for community hospitals who want to gain effective and efficient revenue cycle tools, but have not been able to afford systems used by larger hospitals," said Morkel. "Our applications cost less because they are web-based, on-demand products which require less up-front costs and eliminate the need for long-term maintenance. The need for IT staff or equipment is no longer necessary, further reducing the cost for smaller, community hospitals."
