Featuring 23 stories by extraordinary women, a new e-book compiled by Dianna Huff inspires women to bust through obstacles and fears in order to make desired life changes.

Dianna Huff, a B2B marketing consultant and coach, has released a new e-book, “Women Achieving Dreams: Stories of Courage and Faith from Extraordinary Women.” The 76-page book can be purchased at for $9.95. Proceeds from the book will benefit The Girls Fight Back Foundation, an organization that teaches girls and young women self-defense.

Women Achieving Dreams features stories from 23 women of all ages who overcame obstacles to achieve their dreams. The book opens with a Foreword by Erin Weed, founder of Girls Fight Back, and then immediately launches into the stories, which are told in the first person. The women in the book, who come from the U.S., Canada, and Europe, have shared stories that include everything from starting one’s own business and being the youngest person to run for public office in one’s town to getting off public assistance and participating in triathlons after a debilitating accident. Included in the book are two examples of the types of support groups women can form to help them be accountable as they work to make the changes needed to achieve their dreams.

“I came up with idea for this book after achieving one of my dreams that had sat on the ‘back burner’ for decades, mostly due to my own fears, which were disguised as excuses,” says Huff, who compiled the stories. “I realized that if I had resistance to achieving something that was, with hindsight, relatively easy, then think about what other women must encounter who have even bigger dreams. That’s when I knew I would create a book that inspires and motivates women to take chances in order to achieve their dreams – no matter how big or small. The biggest lesson I learned from the women I interviewed is anyone can change ‘I can’t’ to ‘I can.’ It sounds trite, but it really is the secret to living the life you want. As many of the women in the book will attest, you define who you are and what you want. It’s really that simple, and these stories are a testament to this truth. I’m honored that each woman stepped forward to share her personal story.”

Proceeds from the book will benefit The Girls Fight Back Foundation. Erin Weed founded the organization in 2001 after the murder of her friend, Eastern Illinois University student, Shannon McNamara. Ms. Weed was only 23 at the time. In the past decade, GFB has reached over a million women with its message that females are worth fighting for. Rachel Cunliffe, of Cre8d-Design ( in New Zealand designed the book.
